I just viewed a screening of this in my film class today and I was thoroughly blown away. It wasn’t at all what i expected, and that’s a really good thing! Very enjoyable and really charming. Apparently, you are coming to speak for my class this week; super excited for that and interested in what you have to say.

Can’t wait to buy the film on DVD! Absolutely loved seeing it during the SFIAAFF. And it doubles as a keepsake of what The Cafe looked like before the renovation!

my goodness, I just found out about ‘Fruit Fly’ one day after a local screening… why, why couldn’t I have found it the day before!? I really really really really want to see this!!! I looked at all three trailers and they all look so good. Please have another screening at the Brattle Theatre or somewhere around Boston/Cambridge, or release it on DVD soon! You rock!

I also saw it on Sundance, and I thought it was just fantastic. I’ve been humming and singing the songs since my first viewing, and I’ve seen movie a good 4 or 5 times now. It still hasn’t gotten old. You really made a lovely, hilarious and touching little movie. Thank you. I’ll be ordering the soundtrack soon =]
