It’s been three years since we’ve seen each other in person. You know where.

Ok…so the big Tokyo birthday bash has been canceled and even though we don’t know what’s going on, shit is NOT looking good right now, for any of us. So let’s do what we do! Here’s a new seed video:
First, a Saturn party (and thanks to all who came!) and now a live NOMAD at the Roxie? What could this all mean?!? Find out by getting your tickets HERE.
What does SATURN mean to you? Come decked out in Saturnian gear and dance to our newest Outdoor Chiptune Continuous Dance Karaoke set while various tourneys happen indoors (Smash Bros Ultimate, MarioKart 8 Deluxe, and more!)
Thanks to everyone who came to Mission Arcade on March 11! Unfortunately, I didn't get any footage of the awesome VR reactions in the front room, nor did we get footage of the MarioKart battles in the Ersatz room, but here is our "continuousdancekaraoke" concept in 2 minutes!
(We'll probably figure out a catchier name than "continuousdancekaraoke" at some point.)
And here is the Bay Area Flash Mob with the full performance of the "Evolution of Hip-Hop" routine!
If anyone took pictures of the 50lb pig or the Golden Record cake made by Mark Del Lima, please let us know!
We're celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Voyager launch! Come decked out in space gear and dance to our first hybrid Chiptune Karaoke Danceparty! You should know the location by the time you read this. Call one of us if you don't know.
Kicking off March with the sing-along video of "Colma Stays". Did you miss your chance to sing along online? You can do it with H.P. and L.A. in person on March 13! Click HERE to buy tickets!
Colma: The Musical comes back to the big screen for its 10th Anniversary in the form of a Roadshow Sing-Along, with deleted scenes, live performances by H.P. Mendoza with L.A. Renigen, and director Richard Wong in attendance. Everybody f**king sing! http://caamfest.com/2016/films/colma-the-musical/
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the video! Hope to see you at the Alamo Drafthouse on March 13!
Mission Arcade has happened at some unexpected places, but the San Francisco Asian Art Museum was the last place we expected to throw our scrappy little nerd party. Check out the video below!
Mission Arcade took place at the San Francisco Asian Art Museum as part of TAKEOVER: H.P. Mendoza
This blog post is about four months late, but that's because two thirds of Digital Crafts Night and ALL of Ersatz Film went to New York to work with IDEO.org right after the museum event happened. And we hit the ground running. (ed: And the hard drive with all the Mission Arcade footage shot by Jericho Saria and Hadrian Santos was in California) For the sake of not destroying any originally expressed sentiments, it's probably best to post the Facebook statuses from the actual night:
L.A. Renigen came up for the 10 year Anniversary of Colma: The Musical, so I figured it was the right time to have a Fruit Fly reunion with Mike Curtis. Here's a capture of our a capella ending (that we probably should have done in the actual film...oh well...:-)
And to close off the second set, Digital Crafts Night performed as part of their CD release. Here's a FULL video of "Blowhards", the new song from DCN.
And finally, an album of pictures taken from the night:
Thank you Marc Mayer and Masashi Niwano for giving me a Takeover at the museum. We had a blast. Looking forward to seeing the other Takeovers very soon!
Sooo...
WHERE AND WHEN'S THE NEXT MISSION ARCADE? :)
Mission Arcade is happening at the San Francisco Asian Art Museum as part of TAKEOVER: H.P. Mendoza's "Indoor Block Party"!
H.P. Mendoza's Indoor Block Party happens on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2016
Hugo dominated the night in Unreal Tournament, while we all forgot to take score during MarioKart because booze. Also, karaoke is unavoidable. :)
Thanks to everyone who showed up for New Year’s Mission Arcade! Games have always been the backdrop for our parties, so it was eye-opening to see what would happen if we actively made it a tourney. Takeaway: everything ends in karaoke. ♥
THIS is how we party like it’s 1999. Come on, flak monkeys. Call one of us if you don't know the location.
Thanks to everyone for coming out and dancing/gaming/sangin' - with only a few days notice, we can still put on a hoppin' party!
"Let's do the Timewarp again!"
Dust off your ghost boxes and just show up. For Noddy's birthday, try to knock him off of Rainbow Road. Call one of us if you can't figure out the location.
